Bethany Berzal of Catskill Named To Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities

Bethany Berzal of Catskill was recently honored by acceptance in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.

Bethany was chosen by a campus nominating committee for this honor based upon academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and continued potential for success.

Bethany is studying in the Dental Hygiene academic program at the Troy, NY college.

Bethany is a leader in the Student Chapter of the American Dental Hygienists Association at the college and was one of four Hudson Valley students who represented the college at the Third District Dental Society Conference in 2013, where her presentation won second place in a student competition.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 associate degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Sciences; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and workforce and academic preparation programs offered through the Educational Opportunity Center. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of nearly 13,250 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and worker retraining. Hudson Valley has 75,000 alumni.
