Collin Bartlett of Greenwich is a new matriculated student at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY.

Bartlett is studying in the Individual Studies academic program.

The incoming Fall class included 3,145 new students from across the state and around the world. An additional 350 new matriculated students began their studies in the Spring 2014 term. Students come from more than 20 countries and nearly every county in New York State to study at Hudson Valley.

The top academic programs for new, matriculated students are: Individual Studies; Business Administration; Criminal Justice; Liberal Arts; Human Services; and Early Childhood Education. New degree and certificate programs this year include Entrepreneurship, Architecture Technology and Health Sciences.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers 75 degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 13,000 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training. Hudson Valley has more than 75,000 alumni.
