James Greg of Clifton Park Named To Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities

James Greg of Clifton Park was recently honored by acceptance in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.

James was chosen by a campus nominating committee for this honor based upon academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and continued potential for success.

James is studying in the Engineering Science academic program at the Troy, NY college.

James volunteers weekly with SAFE, which helps students with disabilities play sports. He also helped establish a charitable organization in memory of local Shaker and Shenendehowa students who were killed in a car accident.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 associate degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Sciences; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and workforce and academic preparation programs offered through the Educational Opportunity Center. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of nearly 13,250 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and worker retraining. Hudson Valley has 75,000 alumni.
