Kimberly Plumadore of Troy Named To Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities

Kimberly Plumadore of Troy was recently honored by acceptance in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.

Kimberly was chosen by a campus nominating committee for this honor based upon academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and continued potential for success.

Kimberly is studying in the Individual Studies academic program at the Troy, NY college.

Kimberley served as secretary to the Early Childhood Education Club and has also been active in the Human Services Club and the Educational Opportunity Program. She has been inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, the academic honor society.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 associate degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Sciences; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and workforce and academic preparation programs offered through the Educational Opportunity Center. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of nearly 13,250 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and worker retraining. Hudson Valley has 75,000 alumni.
