McKenna Reilly of Valley Falls is New Student at Hudson Valley Community College

McKenna Reilly of Valley Falls has enrolled in the Biological Sciences program at Hudson Valley Community College.

The Biological Sciences curriculum offers courses in the biological, physical, and social sciences as well as additional elective courses that meet general education requirements for the liberal arts and sciences in preparation for transfer to a four-year school. Required course work features hands-on laboratory experience integrating theoretical concepts with practical applications. The curriculum is designed to provide flexibility in exploring different aspects of the biological sciences.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers 75 associate degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Sciences; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of nearly 13,000 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training. Hudson Valley has more than 75,000 alumni.
