Melissa Hardcastle of Saratoga Springs, NY is a member of the Class of 2013 at Hudson Valley Community College.

Hardcastle graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Technology program.

The 59th Commencement ceremony was held Saturday, May 18, in the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium on the Hudson Valley campus in Troy, NY. Hardcastle was one of 2,333 students, the largest graduating class in the college's history, eligible for graduation.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training.
