Nicholas Willard of Clifton Park Named To Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities

Nicholas Willard of Clifton Park was recently honored by acceptance in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.

Nicholas was chosen by a campus nominating committee for this honor based upon academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and continued potential for success. Nicholas was honored for his involvement in the 2016 Walk for Compassion event in Halfmoon, where he served as logistics chair and volunteer coordinator. He also is a member of the college's chapter of Phi Theta Kappa.

Nicholas is studying in the Liberal Arts and Science: Mathematics and Science academic program at the Troy, NY college.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 80 associate degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Sciences; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and workforce and academic preparation programs offered through the Educational Opportunity Center. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of nearly 11,500 students and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and worker retraining. Hudson Valley has 75,000 alumni.
