Ryan Clark of Ballston Spa Receives Academic Honor at Hudson Valley Community College

Ryan Clark of Ballston Spa was among those recently recognized for academic excellence at the end of the 2012-2013 year at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY.

Clark was the recipient of the Leonard Spiegel Award, which is given to a student who has shown exemplary academic success in the area of structures while maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. This student will also be continuing their education at a four-year institution in the field.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Science; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 13,250 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training. Hudson Valley has more than 75,000 alumni.
