Ryan Sharpley of Averill Park Named To Dean's List at Hudson Valley Community College

Ryan Sharpley of Averill Park was recently named to the Dean's List for the spring 2016 term at Hudson Valley Community College.

Each fall and spring term, the college's Deans' List honors those students who have a term grade point average between 3.0 and 3.5.

Sharpley is in the Electrical Construction and Maintenance academic program at the Troy, NY college.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 80 degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Sciences; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and workforce and academic preparation programs offered through the Educational Opportunity Center. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of nearly 12,000 students, and it is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and worker retraining. Hudson Valley has more than 75,000 alumni.
