Hudson Valley Community College

Five Hudson Valley Community College students were recently recognized with one of the highest honors bestowed on a student in the State University of New York system.

Twenty students at Hudson Valley Community College were selected to receive the Learning Centers Spirit Award for Fall 2015. The award is given to students who demonstrate the learning strategies and habits associated with academic success acquired through continued use of the Learning Centers.

Nearly 200 of the college's top students were honored with a variety of academic achievement awards recently. The awards celebrate the depth of student excellence across the college's more than 75 academic programs.

Two Hudson Valley students were recently named to the Phi Theta Kappa All-New York State Academic Team. PTK recognizes students for academic achievement as well as leadership and community service.
